Nose: Aromas of Griotte cherry and stewed berry fruit. Oaky, toasted hints, with a touch of liquorice and smoke.
Taste: Rich, fruity, ample and silky. The mouth develops toasted and grilled flavors. A finish with fine, spicy and silky tannins for a well-balanced structure.

Origins
We have selected the best « terroirs » to create this wine, sourcing Pinot Noir grapes from the south of France and adding extra value using grapes from their native soil.
The Pinot Noir grapes, grown in specific vineyards on clay-limestone soils along the Mediterranean coast, are subjected to a wide temperature range. As a result, they benefit from very favourable conditions for reaching full ripeness and expressing all the richness of the grape variety.
This wine is a perfect reflection of our commitment to enhancing varietals, offering complexity through its finesse but remaining accessible to all.
Vinification and maturing
History
Mayor, Sub-prefect, Departmental Counsellor of Côte d’Or, he was not only involved in his city and the vines, but played also a major role in the technical and commercial development of Bouchard Ainé & Fils. He founded the Viticultural School of Beaune, whose teaching helped to understand the various diseases of the vine, including Phylloxera.
This technical development is also marked by a qualitative approach based on the art of blending, this Paul’s conception of quality has remained in the fundamentals of the House.
Full of history and with fine flavour our Grand Conseiller pay tribute to the numerous commitments of Paul Bouchard.
